FORT WAYNE, IN  - Tuthill Transfer Systems (TTS), a division of Tuthill Corporation, proudly announces the completion of the transfer of the former FPP Precision Meters Division into TTS's main manufacturing facility.  The logistics of relocating the sourcing, operations, engineering, and manufacturing has taken place over the past year, resulting in a complete overhaul of the manufacturing process changing from one-off batch processing to a high volume, fully integrated lean manufacturing operation.   Manufacturing cycle times have been substantially reduced due to engineering redesign of key components, all new CNC equipment, integrated automated test benches, one-piece flow assembly, and a newly focused product line offering.   With these key fundamental changes in the precision meters product line, TTS is now poised to reestablish itself as a premier supplier of highly accurate precision meters for use in the petroleum, industrial, chemical and processing markets.

TTS's provides a wide selection of weights and measures approved positive displacement oval gear meters ranging from ¼" to 3" with flow rates up to 250 GPM, pressure ratings up to 2500 PSI, and a patented oval gear design that prevents slippage and substantially improves accuracy. With only two moving parts in the meter chamber and no metal to metal contact, reliability, performance and ease of maintenance result in an economical, efficient solution for all metering needs. Offered in stainless steel and aluminum, the precision meter line is well suited for a broad range of petroleum and chemical fluids ranging from paint, corn syrup, fuel oil, and pesticides to glycols, automotive fuels, waters, ink and acetates.  "The transformation of this product line from where we were a year ago has been a herculean effort; we needed some time to step back and fix many issues", stated Jeanice Croy, President TTS.  "We are totally committed to be a major force in the precision meters industry and are now fully engaged and prepared to delivery high quality meters within industry standard lead times". 

The resulting efforts of this transformation is a distillation of the product line focusing on batching, tank/ truck systems, dispensing, blending, fuel consumption, retail fuel and DEF dispensers, LPG, and airline applications- essentially any system for truck mounted or fixed meter applications.   Wrapped around the core meter offering TTS also offers mechanical and digital registers, printers, temperature compensators, air eliminators, solenoid valves, as well as flange and mounting variations for installations world-wide.  With the re-launch of the precision meters product offering TTS will continue to expand its already existing world-wide presence in the competitive metering industry, and expects to capitalize on its new manufacturing site to continue to grow the product offerings.
